Terms and Conditions of Service
At AQUAMED, we strive to provide you with the best service to ensure you have an excellent experience during your treatment. That’s why we share these policies with you, our CLIENT, in order to maintain an environment of harmony and mutual respect. This way, our staff can focus on your needs and ensure that you receive care that exceeds your expectations.
Regarding Your Appointment
Arriving 10 minutes before your appointment is important for your registration at reception and to enjoy the full treatment session. In case of a delay, the maximum tolerance period is 5 minutes, after which you will lose your session. There are no exceptions. Please note that each treatment session requires an average of 50 effective minutes.
As consistency and commitment are essential to achieving better results, AQUAMED only accepts cancellations or rescheduling in cases of illness or force majeure, provided it is reported in advance, and such requests have no retroactive effect. Otherwise, if the CLIENT fails to attend their appointment without justification, the treatment session will be lost.
Reservations and Service
Our hours of operation and reservations are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Once your appointment is scheduled, we can only accept a date change once (01), and the rescheduling will be subject to available slots.
Payment Methods and Terms
We accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, as well as via bank transfer.
Please note that the payment for REGULAR COST TREATMENTS is valid for six (06) months, during which you may be attended with prior appointment 24 hours in advance and be reevaluated by the doctor. For PROMOTIONAL COST TREATMENTS, the validity period is one (01) month. The cost of promotional treatments must be paid in full during the promotion period.
For treatments that start with a 50% deposit, the full payment must be made no later than halfway through the treatment according to the session schedule established by the doctor.
Paid treatments, whether regular or promotional, must be completed within their validity period. If the CLIENT does not request the corresponding service within this period, the treatment will be considered canceled with no possibility of refund.
After 48 hours of making any payment for our services and/or products, AQUAMED WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND for any reason to the CLIENT.
Services Subject to Change
AQUAMED reserves the right to terminate the agreement unilaterally and end the service at any time, preventing the CLIENT from entering, if the CLIENT or their accompanying person(s) behave inappropriately or negligently, causing damage to the premises and/or furniture.
Visitors / Companions
The companions of our CLIENTS may only stay in the waiting areas. Visitors are not allowed in our treatment areas.
Special Conditions
It is the CLIENT’s obligation to inform our medical specialists and staff adequately and promptly during their evaluation or prior to their treatment if they have any special physical condition, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, pregnancy, etc., or if they are not following a medical treatment.
The treatments provided by AQUAMED are evaluated by doctors and specialists who inform the CLIENT about the session program and the treatment guidelines that must be followed, without which it is not possible to guarantee the results. Since the practice of medicine is not an exact science, results may vary from patient to patient. By accepting the treatment, the CLIENT agrees to strictly follow the program and all instructions from the medical specialist.
If the doctor recommends specific treatment areas, the CLIENT must follow the protocol, not choosing where to receive the treatment, as it may affect the expected results and the CLIENT will not be able to file a complaint.
If the patient misses more than 3 appointments from the treatment program set by the specialist, it will be considered that the treatment was interrupted due to the CLIENT's fault, and in such case, AQUAMED will not be able to guarantee or be responsible for the results.
It is mandatory to take photographs of the areas of the body to be treated, as well as weight and other necessary data to track the evolution and results of the treatment. AQUAMED will keep this information confidential. If the CLIENT refuses, they will assume the responsibility for not having this record by signing a sworn statement.
If the CLIENT experiences any discomfort, dissatisfaction, or adverse reactions during or immediately after the treatment, they must inform the treating doctor immediately, preferably between the first and third session.
The CLIENT is responsible for their belongings and valuables while at the Medical Center, unless these have been declared and handed over to AQUAMED staff for safekeeping. The CLIENT should check all belongings at the end of each session, as this is their responsibility.
AQUAMED Staff
All of our therapists are trained in the treatments and follow protocols to ensure the quality of service. It is not a condition of the service that the same therapist always attends to you. I confirm that I have read the entirety of this document and accept the terms and conditions of the service.
